Registering on the site

Why register? When you register, you add your details to our web site database. This database is used exclusively for school purposes and is never given out to anyone for any reason whatsoever. There are certain functions on this web site which are available only to registered users. Registered members have access to areas which are unavailable to non members. For example, only members can:

add comments or topics to the forum
add pictues to the photo gallery
add events to the School Calendar (found under My Events)
receive targeted school communications

How to register... It is very easy. On the top right of every page on the web site, next to the search box, you will see a link which says 'register'. Clicking on that link will take you to a new screen which allows you to enter your details (name, address, user name, password, email address, contact number, etc.). Complete the form and you're sailing!

Who has access to my details? Only the FBI, CIA, NSA, SARS and Big Brother have access to this database... only joking... Only you, the school administrators, and the web site administrators have access to your registration data. It is all password protected... nice and safe.

Logon to the site

Once you have registered with the site - that is adding your details to the web site database - you need to logon to the site to get access to the additional web site features. Logging on requires you to put in your User Name and Password. Once you have done this, you have greater access to the web site. Nice... go add some school pics - perhaps some school outing pictures to the Photo Gallery. Get involved to the forum discussions. Ask questions. Answer questions. Announce a school even for your Class Fundraiser. Own the site.
