How we got to have this website

We have, in the past, been asked the question how The Imhoff Waldorf School can afford a web site, since our school is actively seeking financial support for land aquisition, the godparent initiative, etc.

The answer to this is that our school web site is the result of a combination of parents and teacher initiative. It is not a result of excessive funding from the schools financial resources. Its development and maintenance are carried by parents and teachers of the school. The artwork, photographs, webmaster services and information input are donated, as our school is a Non-Profit Organisation with limited financial resources.

The purposes of this web site are many. It offers:

• a means to communicate our message to the public.
• a place where parents, students and those otherwise involved in our school a place to learn more about The Imhoff Waldorf School; its ethos, its dreams and goals.
• communication enhancement within our school.
• most importantly, to create support and awareness for our school's main short term goal, which is to obtain land to secure the future of the school.
