Imhoff Waldorf lies in the ruggedly beautiful South Peninsula, in Cape Town, South Africa. Situated on the Imhoff Farm, the school is nestled on the edge of a forest not far from the ocean. The walk to school offers many delights as one passes horses, goats, rabbits, peacocks and camels. The Kindergarten and Playgroup are at the very heart of the school. The children enjoy Waldorf education in natural surrounds; it is a rustic and simple life as our school functions without electricity - an unusual occurrence in today's technologically dependent world.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Waldorf Kindergarten teacher who is enthusiastic and passionate about early childhood. The ideal person must be hands-on and able to tackle all sorts of challenges. We enjoy a very strong community of teachers and parents. The Imhoff Waldorf School is the kind of school where you roll up your sleeves and get dirty, while having fun and building lifelong friendships. The teacher is expected to manage the class, be involved in the school, to be keen to learn and work with anthroposophy in our modern day context.
