High School Work Party

The high school work party took place last Friday on Founder’s Day. We celebrated Steiner’s birthday by working together and beautifying our lovely school.
The class 8s sorted main lesson books and tidied the art room; some of the class 9s weeded the field while others washed desks and sorted out the costume wardrobe; the class 10s painted their classroom; the class 11 boys worked with some of the class 12 boys and their class 8 helpers to clear Port Jackson saplings from the dam; and another team of class 8s worked with their class 12 mentor, Izac, to fix a table tennis table and foose ball game. Meanwhile Irene and Maggie led a team who relocated the entire library!
Much hard work was put in by the entire school community and we are very proud of everyone!
