Introducing Caroline – Replacing Joy in the Kindergarten

I am happy to announce that Caroline Joseph will be replacing me as a kindergarten teacher in my class next year. Although it has been very difficult to conceive not spending every morning with these delightful children, I am happy that I can pass them on with confidence.

Caroline Joseph, sometimes called Caz, worked 12 years ago at Gaia Waldorf school in Pinelands as the kindergarten teacher. At that time, she got a brand new classroom and worked there for 2 years. She then left for health reasons, but spent a year helping Gaia to get registered, working with admin and on college and Board.

Caroline has had many hats over her life. She worked in advertising and graphic design before teaching. Since then she has also studied the Bridging Polarities process art, life coaching, and is a kundalini yoga teacher.

She says she comes from a long lineage of artists and craftswomen! She has spent a few days in our class and dazzled the children with her focus. She has done some yoga with us in ring time, and has enjoyed meeting both the parents and the children.

She lived for 20 years in Observatory, restoring an old house, and is now staying in a new part of the world, in Imhoff’s Gift, with Laurence, who taught here many years.

It is with pride and excitement that I welcome Caroline as part of the pre-school faculty and a member of the Imhoff community.
