Stefanie has a worm bin in her kindergarten garden which is being very successfully managed.
A worm farm has been established for the primary school, which is sustained by all the primary school compost. There is an amazing vegetable garden behind the Class 3 classroom, which is watered with a rain tank. Class 3’s are learning all about growing and harvesting vegetables. Their next project is to grow vegetables in a pot that they can take home and use to set up their own veggie garden at home.
The high school has also set up their own vegetable garden and have plans to make enough produce to be able to provide some to the Waldorf Créche in Masiphumelele, Siyakhula.
